Huston at 22 Months!

22 Months

Huston, your personality is definitely coming out!  You have become the funniest, goofiest, cutest little boy.  I can tell you are going to be a handful, but we are going to love every minute of it.  Over the last month, your speech has quadrupled and you can pretty much say whatever you try.  You are doing really good with please and thank you (and have even learned the head tilt with a please when you really want something).

You are becoming a bit of a challenge when we go to dinner, shopping, during diaper changes....pretty much anytime we need you to be still.  You are so busy!  You are a man with a mission and typically run wherever you go.  You still love Handy Manny and Toy Story and love those toys the most.  You even have learned to make sound effects while they are fighting or flying or whatever they are up to.

Your appetite is getting a little better, but you still won't eat very many things.  You love your fruit, carbs and cheese.  You have finally taken some bites of chicken and pizza, so I hope that you will start to like other textures soon.

We took you to the pool for the first time this year, and you took to it like a little fishy.  You wouldn't have anything to do with the baby pool and you got very upset when it was time for breaks.  After about 30 minutes you were comfortable swimming on your own with the floaty vest.  If I put you on your belly, you would even kick and move your arms like you were swimming. 

Cabana Boy

During this last month I have been a stay at home momma again and we have had so much fun.  We made a trip to Oklahoma and you had so much fun with family.  We went to the zoo for the first time (you loved the tigers, monkeys, otters & elephants).
