baby fever

our household is coming down with baby fever.  it's no secret that D and i really want to have another baby soon....but apparently so does H.

the other night we were at outback and usually nothing can tear the little guys attention away from that brown bread...he loves it. but when a family with a baby sat down by us, he about lost it when i wouldn't let him go over there and see the baby. i finally caved and walked up and ooooh and aaahh'd over the baby so he could see it.


when i take H to school in the mornings, i actually have to schedule in about 15 minutes extra so that as we walk in he can stop at all the baby rooms and look in the windows.  he gets so excited when he sees one and claps and points and says his version of baby "baaaa". 

his teacher told me the other day that even though he is one of the few kids in his room that didn't come from the baby room (we didn't enroll him until he was one year old) that all those teachers know him and come and say hi to him.  our little social butterfly.  but i think it is mostly because he is glued to their windows!!

maybe we will be blessed enough to bring him a baby home soon :)
